They introduced it in 1948 and made it through 1954. They went to an auto show in Detroit after the war, and came back with plans to make their "Dream Car of the Future" that was inspired by models they saw at the auto show. Al and Earl Herdklotz, owners of Midgetoy, wanted to beat the competition to market with new models. Midgetoy made a big success with their 3 in 1 Die Cast Truck in 1947. This toy has an interesting story behind it. It's in played in condition as illustrated, and it has 4 rubber wheels. Approximately" long, die cast marked MIDGETOY futuristic car from the 1950. ![]()
